Social Studies K

Social Studies K takes the learner on a journey to explore different types of communities. Learners practice map skills by using a map grid to mark locations. Topics of exploration include neighborhoods, rules and responsibilities, physical geography of the land, needs and wants, state and national symbols, and world cultures. Learners will also discover the importance of historic citizens who have made a difference in our communities.
