Music 5

Music 5 focuses on the elements of music including rhythm, melody, harmony, timbre, tempo, dynamics, and form. Each unit engages learners in listening, reading, composing, performing, and analyzing music. Learners will advance their understanding of the elements of music and their effect on sound. They will enhance music literacy skills as it relates to reading musical rhythms, pitches, and symbols. They will also refine their music creation skills with percussion instruments and music technology. Learners will also explore well-known musical compositions.
