Music 4

Music 4 focuses on the elements of music including rhythm, melody, harmony, timbre, tempo, dynamics, and form. Each unit engages learners in listening, reading, composing, performing, and analyzing music. Learners will further refine their understanding of the elements of music and how they affect musical sounds. Learners will study notes and rests to further their musical literacy and performance on percussion instruments. They will also practice musical discipline through various musical exercises and tunes on the recorder. Learners will also explore well-known musical compositions.
