Music 3

Music 3 applies the elements of music such as timbre, rhythm, melody, expression, form, and texture to different topics. Learning proper playing skills, mastering songs, and creating pieces for the recorder is also a focus. Learners are engaged in listening, reading, composing, arranging, performing, analyzing, and describing music through interaction with various musical genres, performing techniques, composers, and performances from around the world. Topics include the science of sound, dynamics, tempo, beat, rhythm, pitches on the musical staff, playing the recorder, and the musical families of the orchestra.
