Music 2

Music 2 continues to build on the elements of music including timbre, rhythm, melody, expression, form, and harmony. Learning music literacy and mastering proper playing skills on the glockenspiel is also a focus. Learners will be engaged in listening, reading, composing, arranging, performing, analyzing, and describing music while experiencing various musical genres, composers, instruments, and performances from around the world. Topics include the human voice, performing vocal music, beat, rhythm, pitch and note names, and American folk music.
