Achieve English 12

By utilizing an integrated reading and writing approach, Achieve English 12 provides learners with opportunities and resources to develop the skills of reading, writing, speaking and listening and become more proficient in skills related to literary analysis and effective writing. Lessons include instruction in vocabulary, grammar and spelling skills, reading, comprehension, and writing. Learners will learn to approach British literature with a critical eye by examining fiction and nonfiction texts and will consider how historical events influenced British writers. The course also emphasizes strategies to refine writing skills. Achieve English 12 is specially designed to support students requiring alternative pacing and customized content to achieve grade level standards and expectations in English.
