Looking for an alternative to a brick-and-mortar school? At CCA, we provide Pennsylvania students with a virtual learning option. By providing individualized curriculum, we cater to each child’s need in a way that promotes growth and success for all CCA students. From kindergarten to graduation, students are given the resources to excel in our online charter school, and families are involved every step of the way.
Together with family members and teachers, we work to tailor a curriculum centered around each student’s unique needs and interests. CCA's Pennsylvania-certified teachers use the best resources from leading educational publishers and curriculum specialists to deliver a comprehensive, high-quality K-12 cyber school education to students.
The core curriculum offered at CCA to PA students includes math, science, language arts/English and social studies. CCA offers Gifted and Talented, honors and advanced placement courses, as well as electives, internships and conservatory opportunities to students in Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, Harrisburg and throughout Pennsylvania.
The CCA curriculum is always evolving and growing. The latest developments and best practices in education and the workforce are monitored and incorporated into the lessons. The curriculum is designed to provide K-12 students with the latest subject-matter content, aligned with state and national standards.
As CCA is a Pennsylvania public school, students participate in the statewide standardized assessments, the PSSA and Keystone Exams, during the state-determined testing windows.
