The musical Hamilton is one of the most well-known musicals in Broadway. Hundreds around the world were devastated when they couldn’t be in “the room where it happens” due to COVID-19. However, Disney+ decided to “blow us all away” and publish a high-quality recording of the musical! So, without further ado, here are my top 10 favorite songs from Hamilton. I MAY be a bit biased because I love each and every single song. However, feel free to make your own list and debate with your family and friends!
10. Helpless (All I have’s my honor, a tolerance for pain, a couple of college credits and my top notch brain!)
9. One Last Time (Sir, I don’t know what you heard, but whatever it is, Jefferson started it.)
8. Alexander Hamilton (We fought with him. Me, I died for him. Me, I trusted him. Me, I love him. And me? I’m the … fool that shot him.)
7. Right Hand Man (Here comes the general! And his right hand man! BOOM!)
6. Satisfied (To your union! And the hope that you provide! May you always be satisfied!)
5. The Story of Tonight and The Story of Tonight (Reprise) (Raise a glass to freedom! Heyyyy! Something you will never see again!)
4. You’ll be Back (I will send a fully armed battalion to remind you of my love! Da-da-da-da-daaaaa!)
3. Washington On Your Side (We won’t be invisible… we won’t be denied. Still, it must be nice, it must be nice. To have Washington on your side!)
2. Wait for It (Life doesn’t discriminate, between the sinners and the saints it takes and it takes and it takes!)
1. The Room Where It Happens (My God! In God we trust, but we never really know what got discussed! Click BOOM when it happened! But no one else was in the room where it happened.)
