The new Tucson has gotten a huge redesign from its previous models, and it doesn’tfall short of a bold
and stunning design. Available in early 2021, the new Tucson is sure to delight Tucson fans everywhere
(including myself, as I’m an avid Tucson lover – if you know me, you would know). Although my
favorite Tucsons are the 2019-2021 ones, the new 2022 is starting to grow on me. The new Tucson takes
on an entirely new look with a longer and wider body, making it even more modern. (If you didn’t know,
Hyundai is a Korean word that translates to “modern” in English). It features a complex network of
sensors and cameras to keep you safe while driving and make parking a whole lot easier. And for the
first time ever, the Tucson is giving you choices which push beyond the boundaries of performance and
efficiency: Hybrid, Plug-In Hybrid and N line models. So if you’re obsessed with Tucsonslike me and
hope to get one someday, currently have one, or want to get one soon (no matter what year/version),
continue to read on for some interesting and valuable information about the new 2022 Hyundai
Tucson, and find which one is right for you!

3 Types of Power. Your type of SUV.
Gas. Performance and efficiency.
Tucson’s bigger 2.5 liter, 4-cylinder gas engine gives you more power with an estimated 187 hp and 182
lb.-ft. of torque.
Hybrid. To go the distance.
Electric power and gas take the efficiency further. Tucson Hybrid’s 1.6L turbocharged engine kicks out
226 hp estimated total combined system power. AndHTRACAll Wheel Drive comes standard.
Plug-In Hybrid. Best of both worlds.
Electric when you want it. Gas when you need it. Tucson Plug-In Hybrid’s 1.6L turbocharged engine with
13.8kWh battery power charges in just under two hours. And with standard HTRAC All Wheel Drive and
all-electric drive mode, the Tucson Plug-In Hybrid is a win-win.
Design
The Tucson’s brand new design is nothing subtle. It takes things up a notch by featuring a sleek roofline,
chiseled surfaces, and muscular fenders. It’s a contemporary look thatfeels just perfect for today but
with a distinctively fresh take.
Interior Experience
In the new Tucson, you’ll be welcomed with a spacious, streamlined space that will take care of you.
Intelligently designed with intuitive innovations, premium amenities and a larger cargo space –
everything is thoughtfully arranged with you in mind.
Remote Smart Parking Assist
Remote Smart Parking Assist will help you out with a tough parking situation, without you even being
inside the Tucson! All you have to do is press the Smart Key button while standing outside of the vehicle,
and you can remotely park it into a tight parking spot. Another push of the button, and the Tucson easily
drives out of the parking space.
Hyundai SmartSense
Features of Hyundai SmartSense include Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist with Pedestrian Detection
(FCA-Ped); Smart Cruise Control (SCC) with Stop & Go; Blind-Spot Collision Avoidance Assist (BCA); Rear
Cross-Traffic Collision-Avoidance Assist (RCCA); Lane Following Assist (LFA); Lane Keeping Assist (LKA);
Highway Drive Assist (HDA); Blind-Spot View Monitor (BVM); Driver Attention Warning (DAW); and Rear
