Behind-the-Scenes Workers
One of the contributing factors that make the USA a great place to live is widespread education. Teachers are the driving force behind this country’s education and often teachers are not recognized for the great task and responsibility they have. One of the many great teachers in our country is Mrs. Troxell, a 6th grade science teacher.
Q#1: When did you know you wanted to be a teacher?
I remember I was in middle school – struggling with comprehension from a textbook. I had a favorite teacher that use to stay after class with me to help me review and remember things I was reading. I wanted to be just like her!
Q#2: What was your favorite subject when you were in school?
A toss up between Social Studies and Spelling.
Q#3: What is your favorite thing to pass time?
Bake, hike, play outside with my daughter, Belle.
Q#4: What is your favorite book and/or Movie?
One of my favorite books and original movie is Jurassic Park.
Q#5: What do you like most about teaching?
Having fun and learning new things each day.
Q#6: If you could have any other job in the world besides a teacher, what would it be?
I would be a baker or an actress on a Broadway stage in NYC!
Q#7: How long have you been teaching, and what’s your favorite lesson to teach
I have been teaching for 13 years.
