Latin 1

Latin 1 will introduce learners to Ancient Rome, its history, culture, and the Latin language. Major events in Roman history, as well as Roman art and culture will be explored. Learners will develop listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills using classical Latin grammar and pronunciation. Learners will develop an awareness of the ongoing influence of the Latin language in the modern world.
