Intro to Health Science 1B

Introduction to Health Sciences 1B is a semester course introducing learners to the field of health sciences and provides a basic foundation of the structure, services, activities, and professions in the health care system. Course topics include safety in healthcare settings, patient care, health informatics, research in healthcare, and legal and ethical issues in healthcare. Learners will be introduced to several real-life scenarios in the health science professions giving them firsthand experience of how the health sciences field works.
