Chinese 1

Chinese 1 is designed for beginners who have no prior experience in the Chinese language but who have a keen interest in learning about the language and culture of China. This course equips learners with basic Chinese vocabulary and simple phrases that fulfill basic communication needs through the use of interactive features like pictures, videos, and flashcards. By the end of this course, learners will be able to read and write some basic, but important, Chinese characters, vocabulary words, phrases, and sentences.
