He is doing so much better at a cyber school. Each day he knows his schedule and there is structured learning. The brick and mortar education is unsettled and difficult for children. I know I watched a public school child in December and saw a huge difference and she was struggling with the brick and mortar curriculum and how it is presented.

We let our son choose what he wanted to do this year for school. He is a junior and was very concerned about his GPA with applying to colleges soon. He chose CCA as he knew that the our cyber program was basically a teach yourself program that was not created by he school nor had teachers from our school there to help. He wanted to ensure that he would receive full year of uninterrupted learning, something that many of the hybid programs had with virus’s showing up in the building causing them to go full remote at times. The B&M’s (brick & mortar) are also operating with the knowledge that if they get 25% of the scheduled class programs out to the kids that it is ok. That type of thinking is not ok as it only put the United States further behind in the education of our children.

Just have to say, super appreciative of all the communication from CCA. Communication from teachers, information from this group and CCA has been far superior of anything we ever received before. So happy with our decision to come to and stay with CCA.

The CCA educational programs have really helped my children with having more time and different ways for them to understand information. From also teaching them things early on then public school that is still behind. Too bad he couldn’t have his kid try CCA for a year just so he could see how great the school really is.

It has allowed us to focus on their education and not ideologies. Our current school district is a joke. They can not come together to make an executive decision on anything. How am I to entrust my children’s education to these people if they cannot make any decision for the benefit of the children’s education.

“CCA educational programs have benefited our learners in many ways and most likely since operating costs are lower, the school can afford more curriculum, subscriptions to online service (ie. I Ready assessment). However, I value the children in my home and they are a priority but I also care about the other children in my community who attend brick and mortar as cyber school may not be a viable option for them.”

“They have absolutely changed our lives. We get to see our children, as well as what they are learning. Our kids love school, where they hated it prior. They love the curriculum and all that they learn. We LOVE CCA’s art program, they learn SO many awesome techniques and skills. Their curriculum seem very advanced so we also love that they are learning so much. The freedom to do the schoolwork when we can has also been a tremendous help, I work and sometimes we need to do schoolwork over the weekends instead of during the week. We also love their guided and live class options, so the days I know I can’t do work with them, they have the options to attend them with their teachers instead.”

“Being a part of CCA our family has been able to enjoy being a part of our child’s education. The curriculum is challenging yet fun. Any time I’ve had a question on anything the teachers respond quickly. We all love the flexibility of being able to take breaks when needed, something not afforded in B&M (brick & mortar) schools. My son gets to engage in his learning support, speech and even a group meeting once a week with peers on his same level of autism. He has no real friends and those meetings with his peers really brighten his week. He gets help if he is struggling and there is always a teacher that is willing to call, message or zoom him if he ever needs their assistance. Everyone has always been kind, polite and helpful in the most way possible which is a major difference from any of his years in public school. My son wants to continue education with CCA through graduation and is comfortable and happy with everyone he has had teach him or assist him with all his lessons since starting in 2017.

My daughter has been able to thrive. Because she is home, she hasn’t been sick at all. She has perfect attendance which could never happen for her at a brick and mortar school. Through the zoom classes she has interaction with others. And I’m able to work with her with things. My daughter is excelling in CCA.

My child who has been passed on with failing grades, is now getting A’s and B’s in her core curriculum that was not the case in our home school district. I have tried private school as well and must say CCA has a better program. I have spent $7200 a year for a few years to educate my children, with our taxes going to our home district that failed my child’s education. That is not acceptable. My child has said repeatedly she never wants to go back to regular school. CCA provides all that is needed and very supportive to students and parents. You don’t get that anywhere else. I have spent $600 plus a month on tutoring to get my child through grade school prior to seeking out private school. Plus thousands to other places to get her help. That should of never been. At CCA my child has excelled.

“CCA has gone above and beyond to help and be there for my child. They provide speech therapy 2 times a week, their special education department is right on top of things related to his IEP (Individualized Education Program), all the teachers are very attentive and great to work with as both a student and parent, the tech department is very quick and knowledgeable, my son has joined both the art club and baking club which he enjoys. He has attended many different virtual field trips this year. He also has access to many online academic programs.”

“CCA has been a lifeline this year. At a bare minimum we hoped our daughter would receive more than the few minutes of daily live online instruction she received from her local teacher last spring. Instead we have been blown away at how much better the quality and effectiveness of the learning have been. Our daughter is thriving academically, and she loves her classes and teachers. We are so proud of her and all she has done this year. Thank you CCA.”

To me, the school probably saved my son from possibly getting arrested and sent to jail, just because of him hating school. CCA he really likes the school and the idea that he can stay in his PJ’s all day while doing classes. My son has been AT CCA since 9th grade and his marks are much better. Right now my son is making the honor roll, something that he could never accomplish in a regular or charter school. My son is now in 10th grade on his way to 11th. CCA was really what helped my son start to like school. By the end of the year, you meet with your guidance counselor and can pick any electives you think are interesting to you. This past fall my son got to take a Driver’s Ed course. He absolutely loved the class, and received a 94%, grade from this class.

“Being a parent of children who had struggled previously for many years in brick and mortar schools CCA was nothing short of a blessing. My daughter has excelled more than she ever has in her school career after joining CCA. They wasted no time in offering me the support necessary to make sure my son received his speech evaluation and one-on-one speech classes. The communication between teachers, principles, and other staff with parents and students is unmatched. The flexibility that this has offered our family is priceless. My twin teens have thrived this year in 10th grade, and are able to have learning tailored to meet their individual needs. “My son has gotten more attention at CCA as opposed to public school. He has been able to learn at his own pace which he loves and is not held back by the students around him. “I originally chose CCA due to the ridiculous COVID mandates, but we are staying because the education is amazing. The curriculum is much better than our district and I see how our district was failing in many areas. This has turned into a wonderful experience for my children. She feels she is actually learning the material rather than hurrying through it to hand it in.”

Every experience with CCA has been Cca amazing. My children are happier and much healthier. CCA gave my children the confidence that they lacked because of brick and mortar school. My children were once a number and forgotten about but not since we made the perfect decision to transfer to CCA. Every concern I had as a parent changed when we started with CCA. CCA took all my fears away that we have experienced through brick and mortar. It has been a life changing experience that is the best for my family. The things we have experienced with brick and mortar we never want to experience again. Times changed through the generations and what I experience in brick and mortar is nothing compared to what I experienced with my children, it got way worse with bullying, drugs, violence, etc. With CCA I have no more fear of what is going to happen to my children during school hours. CCA involves all children and they are not left out just because they may learn at a slower pace. CCA does not push our children through the cracks like I have experienced with brick and mortar.

Our son has be benefited greatly from the CCA educational programs and services. His IEP (Individualized Education Program) is being followed and his Team are very understanding. He gets the accommodations, manipulatives, OT (occupational therapy), and assisted devices he needs to succeed. He is very comfortable with using the touch screen environment due to his sensory needs. He communicates well with his support teachers and his classroom teachers by actively participating in class. The class schedules in Edio allow for the flexibility we need to give him breaks to come back and finish assignments. He’s been more creative this year in art, which he lives to do and express himself and in using video responses for some of his assignments because he is very animated and theatrical. He also likes to draw out his answers and write stories. He even received high distinguished honors half way through the school year and has excelled this year and we couldn’t be prouder of him. He socializes with his peers and adds them as friends in some of his games outside of school. We can’t wait to participate in field trips. The virtual field trips will do for now. We’re excited about an upcoming one to Iceland.

“Our family loves the flexibility CCA gives us so we can deal with important matters in conjunction with a stellar education. Specifically for the 2020-2021 school year, our children have benefited from the consistency CCA provides, as opposed to the district’s constant flip-flopping between in-person and virtual instruction. We are also getting to explore a wide range of interests, hobbies, and careers together, not only through their lessons, but from the dozens of clubs and virtual field trips offered. All from the safety of our home without any exposure during the pandemic.”

“There are a number of human beings in this world that value and truly need consistency. For us, the ability to choose a safe, proven, and consistent education this year was vital. For others, this choice is vital all the time, be it social reasons, health issues, etc etc. We are not to judge others, nor are we to remove their ability to choose what type of education works best for their family. Options like CCA are so important for those who need it, who happen to live in a horrific public school (sadly this is becoming more and more common), or who have a variety of other issues/concerns they absolutely need to work around.”

Where do I start? CCA listened to me and my concerns right from the start. I expressed that my son was behind in school and that I was very concerned and struggling was causing his behavioral problems. CCA, unlike [our home] school district, actually listened to me and got him evaluated for a IEP (Individualized Education Program) which we just finished the process and he qualifies for help. My son no longer says he hates his school. He says,”Mommy I love my school, I love CCA.” We have no intentions of going back to [our home school district] and dealing with all of their crap to be frank. He is thriving and getting the help he needs now.

“My daughter started CCA this year in 8th grade. She was able to take Honor English, Science, History and even 9th grade honors Algebra. She also was able to take Spanish and a couple electives. She is more engaged in her own success than ever before, and achieved all A’s for the fall semester. While she is spending more time doing school work than everbefore, she is learning more and becoming better prepared to succeed in college and life long after that. For the first time I am able to actually see all my daughter is doing in school, unlike the mysterious black box that the local public school district was.”

She loves this type of learning, without the distractions a b&m would give her. “CCA has been the best decision we have ever made. Our daughters are both thriving in school with their anxieties gone, and the individual attention they need. CCA has bent over backwards from the start making sure we have everything we need. Their communication is amazing with emails, chats, zooms, check-ins, and weekly video messages from the principal. My children get to see and speak to their teachers on a daily basis, have extra support offered in several ways if needed, they get to go on field trips (all virtual this year), and join clubs! I get to see my children learn, and interact with their teachers and peers, watch them learn to manage their own schedules and learn time management, become self motivated, learn all their own tech skills, become independent thinkers and be proud of themselves because of CCA. Our family went from dreading school to loving school and we are so grateful for that opportunity.”

“My family would have not had the opportunities to live a full life without the cyber option. My students have traveled the world, learned invaluable life skills, and had the ability to participate in sports and dance. My students have a full life not overwhelmed with peer pressure, timelines, or the robotic routines the Brick and Mortar schools base their education system by. My students have more of a relationship with their teachers online then with an in-person teacher. The programs offered have allowed one of my students to graduate with college credits. The career counselor designed her courses based on her career path. Another student is part of a mentorship and will receive a paid internship with the trade job of his choice. The opportunities are endless.”

We just got here in January, and my son is severely asthmatic to the point that a simple cold for an average person causes an ER trip for him. I did extensive research on online schooling and school requirements before we left out last school and I absolutely loved what I read about CCA and knew that this would be a good fit for my son. He has already shown so much growth in 1 month and I couldn’t be more proud of him or more thankful for being able to utilize CCA and all of the resources we have through them.

“The platform of learning as been fantastic for both of my children grades 4 and 8. It was a learning curve to online learning but my kids have done well adjusting to it. The variety of ways to learn (lecture, videos, online games for quiz/test prep) have kept them engaged. We get calls from their teachers at least once a month and my emails are always returned promptly. The family mentor is a great resource of CCA as well that helped support me when I felt overwhelmed at times in the beginning. I do not believe I would have gotten this at their current district during this time. My son even has a tutor once per week which has been helping too. I know many of their friends in brick and mortar that have done online all year have been struggling and feel it is just time sitting in front of a computer. The option for online cyber school should be funded to the fullest extent and follow each child in their district. Lawmakers need to be fair and put the child’s education first not politics!”

“My second grader struggled with reading when entering CCA. She lost a whole 3 months of solid education during the pandemic. Our brick and mortar school had a rough time adapting. Now, she is thriving and reading chapter books! She was identified with having a lower reading level and CCA teachers stepped up and provided extra reading and groups to properly motivate her! I am forever thankful! She made the Distinguished Honor Roll! And my seventh grader…. we fought hard for years to get her in proper classes in brick and mortar to properly challenge her with math and ELA (english language arts). CCA was willing to have her try more challenging, advanced classes…and she is thriving as well. She is in the National Junior Honor Society and Distinguished Honors. Along with several clubs that spark her interest!

The curriculum is much better, accredited but with higher standards, far more engaging, and the teachers listen! We love that CCA is so supportive, they keep the lines of communication open and follow through on every component of teaching as well as offering tutoring and many other ways to help expand our child’s learning experience. I also love how CCA engages and involves the parents in every step of the learning process, it has been encouraging and very positive for our family. “CCA educational program and services has been a benefit to me and my child by working with our schedules, working with individualized educational plans to help my child thrive and grow more fundamentally in their learning and has given them the one-on-one that they needed compared to public schools. Where you have to worry about COVID-19 and public areas. The virtual school that is not the case, you know that your child is safe and yet still getting the educational needs that they need. A lot of the educational programs that CCA offers have been cut from public schools like music and art. Which have been proven to help them in areas with science and math!”

Our daughter is six years old and has already learned more conversational french than I did during four years of high school. She has virtual field trips that take her all over the world to learn about different cultures, art, music, and animals. She has bi-weekly meetings with her counselor that I am able to attend with her to facilitate her emotional strategies at home. She has highly trained teachers and the use of excellent educational platforms and subscriptions that allow her to excel, at her own gifted pace, at the convenience of our schedule, in a SAFE place – her home. I cannot imagine the heartache and stress this year would have been for our family if we did not have a public cyber school option.

“It allows my child to work from home and be in his comfort zone. Also time, he would get about maybe 4 hours after coming home from brick and mortar to do his homework, dinner, shower and have him time. “It allows my child to work from home and be in his comfort zone. Also time, he would get about maybe 4 hours after coming home from brick and mortar to do his homework, dinner, shower and have him time. “[My son receives] physical, occupational, and speech therapy. He also receives social skills, a dedicated learning support teacher, and a reading support group. “She is getting Wilson program that is a multi-sensory approach reading program, she feels confident in herself for the first time cause no one is judging her and she is eating enough calories everyday without vomiting. If something is really hard we break it up over the weekend so it will be achieved. “I could not be happier. My daughter has ADHD with learning disabilities. In her public school she was failing and grade levels behind. There were no learning support classrooms or curriculum. At CCA she has blossomed and is doing so well. For the first time ever, she made honor roll. They also found other problems that her b&m (brick & mortar) school missed and have provided support services for those issues. I am so grateful to CCA for helping my daughter to really learn and succeed (something she never knew) and grow her self esteem.”

“My daughter has learned so much in her 4 years with CCA. When she needs challenged in her curriculum I can see that, because I’m there everyday and as well as the teachers can see it and together we share ways to get her challenged. That could mean an adjustment in her lessons, or maybe some extra reading passages sent specifically to her, or as we experienced one year-to be moved ahead a math grade because she was showing advanced abilities in that particular grade level of math. I have a voice in my daughter’s education & my opinion is valued. And she gets the best education.”

“First right at the start, CCA offered more elective programs in elementary school, that public schools do not even offer. That was a great start for anyone moving to a new school. CCA has allowed my children to have the best education and added support that they have ever received. We have only been with CCA for 4th grade with one child and 5th grade with another, this is our first year. CCA has given support from teachers, tech, and many others, during and after school hours, which is a great benefit of being with a public cyber charter school. Both my children’s grades are A’s and B’s, which never happened in all the years we were in a brick and mortar public school. CCA has allowed my children to be in the safest environment possible and around the best support they can be with. I sadly CAN NOT say the same for a brick and mortar public school.”

“CCA has given our family our children back. Previous to the switch our 2 oldest boys were sullen and unhappy most days. One son was excelling in school but bored. He was told numerous times by his public school guidance counselor his goal of becoming an ornithologist was not real and made up. My other son was reported to be at grade level on all skills. Unfortunately, upon further assessment it became apparent he barely grasped basic math skills. He was overwhelmed with multiple step questions and critical thinking. His brick and mortar teacher was kind but overwhelmed with the numerous in class distractions and behavioral problems of other students. He was slipping through the cracks. Now after 14 months with CCA my oldest son is challenged and interested in learning. His younger brother has learned how to learn and feels confident in his ability to think critically and work through problems.”

CCA has help provide a SAFE, LIVE, and quality education for my children when the local school districts couldn’t figure it out. CCA teachers have been available to us to answer questions”within a few hours” but typically its more like minutes, even on the weekend. The school provided so many school supplies that my kids are able to do actual science experiments, beautiful and creative art projects, and learn math with 3-D objects. It is so much more than the standard brick and mortar provides. CCA has also opened up their teaching of math concepts to more than just common core and the”required by the state non-sense” that doesn’t work for everyone. CCA teaches various methods and the children are free to use whichever method they understand best. CCA is the answer to quality education!

“CCA has been a blessing to both us and our daughter in many ways. She has a sense of pride in that she can get online to attend her classes on time by herself. We feel this responsibility will get her ready for college. She feels part of something. Any questions we have are answered swiftly and friendly. There are countless clubs, field trips and services with CCA. Any tech problems are addressed and taken care of promptly. Cyberschool is not for everyone but for us it truly is a blessing.”

“My daughter started CCA at beginning of the school year and with the options of live/guided virtual classes, recorded virtual classes, and completing classes independently, she has a straight “A” average, attends honors ELA (English Language Arts), and best of all according to her ophthalmologist in February 2021, her eyes are very healthy. Thanks to CCA she is able to listen to her body and take eye breaks when she needs them, while keeping up with her studies and earning straight A’s. Emotionally, this is the happiest I’ve ever seen her. She will be attending CCA for 7th grade next school year.”

CCA has been a HUGE benefit to our son and us as parents. With CCA’s extremely helpful teachers and the system they have in place, I was able to see exactly what work [my son] had done and what still needed finished. I could hold my son to the standard that will be expected of him when he’s an adult in the workplace, and my son has grown leaps and bounds in learning to take responsibility for his work. I had several youth leaders talk to me about noticing a change in [my son’s] maturity after a couple months of starting at CCA. Another bonus was that the teachers WANTED to hear from me and worked with me to hold [my son] accountable, which was not the case at public school.

Their relationship with each other and willingness to take on responsibilities at home is so much nicer than it has been in the past. They are taking ownership of their part of our family team. “When my son first started kindergarten, he would always lower his head and say he wasn’t good at math like my daughter was. And he wasn’t reading as well as my daughter when she was his age. But by then end of the year, he loved math and started saying and still says he’s really good at math now! His reading improved so much I am constantly surprised by how well he reads. My kids know about history and animals because of the numerous field trips they’ve attended. So when something is being taught in science or social studies I’m able to relate it to something they saw at a museum or farm. “When we started out the year, we were doing cyber school through our home school. It was absolutely awful!! They would not unlock her computer, so she could not get any actual learning from teachers or videos. She cried everyday with the amount of reading computer texts, not understanding because as a 4th grader she was not actually getting any teaching. I talked with the school numerous times but they were unwilling to help or change anything. She was getting more behind, more upset & hating school, and getting bad grades. I had enough and switched her!! BEST DECISION EVER!! She makes straight A’s again, loves school, loves the extra curriculum activities, loves the teachers, and enjoys her classes. The teachers are amazing!! They grade her assignments immediately, (vs taking a week with the other school). If she doesn’t understand the assignment, they will set up times to work with her to understand the concepts! I love this school!! Plan on 3 of my kids doing CCA again next year. Can not say enough great things about this great program and the amazing teachers!”

“My daughters are doing well at CCA! We have great support from our teachers. There is great communication between me as a parent and teachers. They are always checking in with us to see how things are going and any concerns. My youngest daughter seems more relaxed and able to work at her own speed. I felt like she put a lot of pressure on herself attending brick and mortar and pleasing her teachers. My oldest daughter is getting the support so that she can learn at her current ability levels to get her to a level where she should be. Getting her into the special education program has helped tremendously. I didn’t have to fight to get her that help and support either. I feel like CCA was able to listen to my concerns. She was getting supports before she was evaluated and tested into the special education program. Since begging with special education just a short 2 months ago her recent benchmark scores show she is making great strides. I couldn’t be happier.”

My daughter’s grades were trending downward on a regular basis while in our districts school. She was quiet and well-behaved and seemed to get ignored due to the many out of control students in her class. I know this to be true because I volunteered often in her class. She was unhappy and felt stupid. She cried before and after school. We made the switch and it’s been nothing but smiles. I now have 2 kids at CCA. One has achieved distinguished honors and the other academic excellence. They love school now. My daughter said her favorite part of CCA is that she feels smarter after every class. My son receives speech therapy through CCA. I’ve never seen a school evaluate a child so thoroughly. They truly put the child’s needs as a top priority.

“My youngest tests above his grade in benchmarking every year and my oldest is graduating this year. Public school always wanted to put my son on medication and when anything happened in school it was because he wasn’t on meds. He is taking honors class this year & has had a job the past 2 summers because of the help CCA offered.”

“CCA has helped my daughter to blossom and given her time to deal with her anxiety. Not only has CCA boosted my daughter’s confidence, they have also encouraged her to learn. The public school system is a horrible choice for my daughter and her mental health. My daughter has been very happy and more outgoing since joining CCA. CCA teachers are by far the best teachers I have seen in a long time. They are caring, professional, and extremely helpful.”

“CCA has allowed me to provide my children with a solid, uninterrupted education through this insane pandemic, all while keeping my children safe. My kindergartner is thriving with her amazing team of teachers. My 1st grader is becoming a better writer and is thriving with all the Science based trips, club, and in class. My 7th grader has grown to love ELA (English Language Arts), Science and History. The clubs and trips are out of this world and have brought joy and activity to our whole family since all our normal activities and day to days are non-existent. Due to CCA my children have thrived while we’ve watched many others not in CCA floundering.”

“My son has both emotional special needs and several medical conditions that require periodic doctor visits. The asynchronous learning option at CCA means there is no pressure when missing work for a doctor’s appointment or due to an emotional meltdown. I also love their computer program,”Edio” that allows me to monitor all of my son’s work in detail. Their virtual field trips are amazing, including cooking and art classes, as well as virtual travel and and career exploration opportunities that are not even offered at the school district. Also, the teachers are always willing to reach out to us to make sure my son is doing well.”

“Our daughter has Dyslexia & high anxiety, so we were kinda nervous for online. Well, let me just tell you, our 10 year old has more confidence then ever. She looks forward to school now. She is not just a number, she gets so much help for her Dyslexia. Not just from learning support but from all the teachers. She is on honor roll. She is soaring. The program is unbelievable, she is learning so much. No interruptions, of quarantines. No interruptions for snow days. We are here to stay. No one understands the right support for a special needs child, unless they themselves or they have a child with specific needs. I pray the government never takes this away, from children who deserve to learn the way that they need to be taught. Thank you CCA, for bringing education as a joy in our daughters, heart, soul and a lasting impression in her life, forever.”

CCA’s educational programs have offered my children programs that have not been offered at our district brick-and-mortar public school therefore the programs from CCA have let my children experience many more educational opportunities than if they would be at the local district school. With the more advanced and more options at CCA, my children have discovered many more opportunities that would not have been available if they would have attended the local district school. My children have learned languages that they would not have had available from the local school that has advanced my children within their life choices of helping to operate our family business which deals in overseas communications that they now can do.

“My child would never have been able to continue in public school. He would have developed into a behavioral problem and been despised by teachers and peers alike. He was the scapegoat in his class for everyone and everything. Teachers allowed the bullying as a way to control him. In this home setting, he is much calmer, has lots of friends outside of school (the same kids, but he is now accepted by them since his behavior is normal). CCA has given him the opportunity to live a normal life in the community by taking him OUT of the school.”

“CCA has given us so many opportunities that our local school never did. Here they are getting more individualized education and I am able to keep up with their grades better. They have extra classes that they excel in that was never offered in our public school even after less funding. For the first time we see my kids excited for class and they have learned so much independence. They can see for themselves how their effort in class affects their grades. We are involved in their learning for the first time as coaches and thus can also educate them in our daily lives referring back to what they are learning in school. Our oldest has ADHD and the doctor has told us this type of education is the best for him and we have seen dramatic improvement in grades and interest in school.”

“Two of my children are already venturing into adulthood after CCA. One is in her third year of college and was better prepared because her CCA teachers helped in every step to get her ready. My son is in 11th grade, CCA focuses on his future, they reach out and offer him guidance as far as what he should be focusing on for his chosen career path. “While at CCA my children have the ability to focus on their classwork and not the other peers. CCA staff communication is great. They get back to you as quickly as they can and always offer to help the kids if they need more time or need help understanding assignments. I love that they never miss class. If we have plans as a family during the day they can still complete the assignments later on that day and still get credit for them. Overall CCA is a great school and they really do care about our kids!”

“My son is more engaged in learning, does much better in learning, has less emotional distress from “peer bad actors” at traditional schools. He especially enjoys the flexibility of the format (ability to do things later if needed and not be rushed). Plus he said the bathrooms are much cleaner at home than his old school. Additionally, I find the CCA instructors to be highly engaging in there teaching style. I often find myself caught up listening to the lesson.”

“It has taken the stress out of learning, gives them the opportunity to learn at their own pace. First let me say that my grandson has been more interested in attending class now than before when he was with public school. He’s learning more at an advanced pace. He’s safe and comfortable. That’s important. His day is well structured from beginning to end. I’ve never seen any school more organized. They are always just an chat, email or phone call away, He’s extremely happy and so am I.

“CCA was an option for learning for me and my kids that has worked despite the craziness of this year and last. It has provided my second and seventh grader with consistent learning through this year, while the public schools in our area can’t even figure out when to open and when to close. The teachers at CCA are top notch. The curriculum is also very impressive. I don’t feel like my kids have missed a beat by moving to CCA. Administratively, CCA seems to have transitioned to accommodate the huge influx of students and families seeking cyber school as an option. We received all materials timely and the equipment and learning tools provided are more than adequate. There have been some glitches with the technical side of things but those days have been few. All in all, CCA has been a solid choice for education for my kids and I am so thankful to have had it as an option. CCA has been the one thing that is seemingly “normal” for me and my kids during this time of crisis.”

“I chose CCA after my daughter didn’t want to go to school anymore because of the bullying she received from classmates and the social studies teacher. She lost motivation and her esteem was low. Since she came to CCA she received the help of her teachers. The attention, communication and follow-up of her teacher were creating security and motivation. So today my daughter is in 9th grade, she maintains an academic average of 4.0 and has future goals of becoming a neurosurgeon. Communication with teachers is easy and accessible. My son is in kindergarten and he can read and write only with the help of teachers who impact him. My son enjoys taking his classes as the teachers always set aside time at the end of the class for the children to express themselves and ask questions. I receive constant feedback from teachers and have access to see what my children are working on. CCA offers clubs and field trips that have enriched the knowledge of my children and have contributed greatly to their social development. As parents, we have received help in spanish all the time. The teachers and the rest of the staff take their time to listen to my needs and work committed to address them.”

“CCA has been a Godsend to us! I moved 2 of my kids from public b&m (brick & mortar) to CCA this school year. The curriculum is harder than they saw in b&m, but their grades are better. They are learning so much more. I also have 2 kids in CCA that never went to b&m. The differences in the early elementary curriculum is amazing. It is challenging, it makes them want to learn, it is a step above anything I ever saw from b&m schools. The extra reading groups for K and 1st grade got my daughter reading and now she loves to read. The teachers are engaging and the kids love going to class. Teachers are very accessible if extra help is needed and they check in often. My kids love the clubs. I love that I am 100% involved in their education. I can see each lesson and provide help when needed. I can hold them accountable for their work and tell right away if they may need some extra help. CCA was the right choice for my kids.”

“CCA has been a huge benefit to my children. They LOVE coming to school. They don’t feel like they have to be scared to ask a question. They are learning so much by being in a relaxed environment. I no longer have to deal with a crying child coming off the bus because of bullies. I no longer have to deal with my kids hurt feelings when they ask why they aren’t being recognized for all their hard work and accomplishments. They have fun coming to school. My children are distinguished honor roll students here at CCA. CCA has been a blessing with their caring teachers and staff. The field trips and clubs make CCA really stand out from the rest. I’m just upset we didn’t start sooner. “Evaluation for my son who didn’t receive assistance for his anxiety. He exhibited behaviors the first day of kindergarten, but wasn’t helped. Then COVID closed school and all his new kindergarten friends went away. I was left with a traumatized little boy who mentally checked out. Nothing I did worked. School district did nothing to help us. CCA got us the support he needed desperately. He shouldn’t have gotten to a crisis level. I’m forever thankful for CCA and the help they gave my son. His teachers are quick to understand our needs and work with our son. Ms. O’Dell is fantastic with him and gently pulls him out of his shell without pushing. We have made a signal to show he’s comfortable with being called on. These small, but significant modifications mean everything to my son’s sense of control when he has very little.”

“CCA has saved my family this year. CCA has been the consistency and security that my family needed during this pandemic. All of my friends whose children have been attending our home district have been complaining about the quality of learning their child is receiving and how behind they think they are getting. I am confident that my children are receiving an amazing education and will not have”lost a year” to COVID-19 as many of their peers parents who attend our district school feel they have. I have been nothing but impressed by the teachers, materials, and coursework provided by CCA. My children’s individual learning needs are being supported and our family has been able to thrive during this challenging time.”

As the parent of a first time CCA family, with friends whom have been in CCA for many years–I am amazed at the education and programs offered by CCA. First, I never knew the credentials of my kids’ teachers and they are in 3rd and 7th. That immediately set things apart from public school. Second- -they have classes with live teachers and can ask questions in real time. Currently our public school has offered 2 days in person and links the other 3 days–it is very confusing and school board meetings don’t address the issues at public school. CCA has constant responsive teachers too for all issues–not just once a year at a 10 minute conference like in public school. My kids have gone on virtual field trips–such as to an alaskan nature preserve, and to Australia, Africa, castles in Europe, met the cast of Hamilton, saw a LIVE magician, played bingo with friends virtually, my daughter enjoyed a tea party. Every aspect is celebrated at CCA–diversity, our constitution, explanations of Black History Month — to name a few. They are in virtual clubs too and making friends! My son is in fly fishing and gaming, while my daughter is in an animal club, art club and an equestrian club. We had picture day. We have all of our supplies including computer supplied, internet paid, and outside extra curriculars also paid. I see my kids learning and growing and the curriculum is paced nicely with extra help for those who need it. Teachers are super responsive. It has been a truly amazing experience and we are happy to be where we are.

“My child is a special education student and is also high functioning. His computer skills and small motor skills have increased dramatically over the last several months. I feel that these are necessary skills that will help him succeed in a technological world. His anxiety has been steadily decreasing and he is feeling confident. The lesson plans are challenging and engaging. His teachers are kind, patient and knowledgeable. The special education department communicates well, they have adopted his IEP (Individualized Education Program) and make the appropriate accommodations. My child is gaining confidence and his progression has been consistent. CCA is all about the success of the child, our experience has been a hundred percent positive.”

It had provided my children with resources, and more academic support than they received in traditional school setting. They have flourished, made new friends and have done very well academically. It removed the bullying element they faced when they attended, traditional charter school, a catholic school, and public school. CCA has been the best choice for my children. We were referred here by a health clinician.

CCA has singlehandedly been the greatest thing that has happened to our family. For the first time after six years of public schools, my child was able to focus on her academic achievement. Her understanding has skyrocketed and her grades have improved. It’s almost like, removing all the distractions and simplifying her focus. I’m very pleased. The purpose of school is to learn and she is finally able to focus on her education. I hope that she will be able to finish her primary education with CCA, and if not, I will gladly entertain moving to another state with more freedom of choice.

As follows: caring, concerned, involved, thorough, professional, dedicated, etc. The educational programs and services have expanded my daughter’s knowledge base in every aspect; very interactive and rewarding. “CCA’s education programs have been a benefit to our family in so many ways. They have so many different ways that they get education out there so no matter what learning style your child has they will be able to learn and feel proud. They make sure my children are in classes with other students on the same learning page so that they can push themselves to do their best and not be waiting for others to catch up, but if they are needing more time in other subjects they aren’t lost in the work of others who might find it easier and can take more time getting the concept better. They have many ways to get help if they need and make sure the parents are always involved in whats going on. They provide so many resources for children to learn and reach out if they need anything.”

“CCA not only could guarantee consistency this school year, they could also tell me in detail what the year would look like when our home district could not. They also listened when I expressed concern that I had a 2nd grader who hadn’t improved in reading since kindergarten and was also behind in math. CCA immediately started the process of evaluating my son to see why he had not improved. The evaluations found dyslexia among other issues. Even before implementing the IEP (Individualized Education Program) for him, the CCA model for learning and how the classes are set up had him improving greatly. He is now on grade level for math and his reading and comprehension skills are also improving.”

My daughter, who is currently a first grade student at CCA, has been struggling with reading and writing. CCA stepped up to the plate and immediately tested her for any learning disabilities so that they would be able to assist her properly so she could really succeed in her educational journey. They were able to adjust her lessons and provide her the help she needed. Her confidence and attitude as improved drastically and she is now enjoying reading books, etc. My husband and I never thought we would see the day where our daughter would come to us wanting to read a book but I am happy to say that that day has come. We love CCA and are 1000% pleased with our decision for her to be a CCA student.

My three children had unique problems in a district school setting that the district would not address. CCA’s staff has taken the time to get to know our family, to hear our concerns, and to work as a team to make our educational experience the best it can be. Since switching to CCA, I’ve seen incredible growth in each of my three kids. They are not only thriving academically, but they have developed skills beyond their years in areas of self responsibility, accountability, time management, communication, organization, and technology. Their needs are all met individually through CCA and I’m so grateful to be on this journey with them.

CCA is a blessing especially since covid. I as a parent was very relieved to have the choice to choose where my child would go to school. CCA was a perfect fit. Their educational programs, field trips, clubs and tutoring are more advanced then the public school my child previously attended. Plus our previous school district mismanaged school funds causing our taxes to increase for years in order to pay it off and no one was held accountable but, the families are paying the price. Plus they never listen to the parents. It was always about how the school district looked not what was best for the students. CCA listens to the parents and students. CCA goes above and beyond to make sure every student succeeds the best way possible.

“They have helped my son that went from knowing so little to knowing and wanting to learn much more in school and in life in general. He’s been interested in science and planets! My children can learn somuch more through CCA than my local school provides. The children within our local districts are generally a year or 2 behind my children’s curriculum. However, that being said, students who do not advance at the pace of their peers, do get the INDIVIDUAL help that they need in order to succeed. Local schools cannot claim that. I have had many discussions with parents who have their kids in local schools and they same the things. The schools are horrible and getting worse but unfortunately, with these family’s schedules, it’s their only option. Its unacceptable and another reason you should want to hold these local schools accountable. Holding them accountable should make them want to strive for better.

“As a first timer CCA parent this year has been amazing for our son. Besides the education level, which has been amazing, the independence for him it has created has been so beneficial, as a family it has opened the door to travel more as our son simply takes his computer with him. The individualized communication from the teachers, guidance counselor, and homeroom teacher has been informative as well as personalized. We are extremely grateful.”

“For many years our family homeschooled. We believe it’s an important right for us to have this choice. Unfortunately it can be expensive and we were no longer able to afford it. CCA provided us a way to have a free, quality education at home, on our schedule, with all the parental involvement we value. They offered the classes our senior was interested in, as well as providing exceptional college preparation. They stepped up to life in a pandemic with virtual college visits and informational meetings, as well as fun and interesting field trips. They have had years of experience with what they do, and it shows in the teachers, curriculum, counselors, and programs. We are extremely pleased with the decision we made to enroll in CCA and believe everyone should have the right to choose what works best for their own family.”

“My child has all the available resources to find information, to cover her school work, to learn, and if she is behind, school is always supporting the student and helping the parents to help our kids. Many available options, clubs, extracurricular online activities. Individual attention, support from all levels of the staff for student and parents. Online curriculum easy to track. My kid is learning to be more independent, self responsible (not nanny style), she is taking control of her own work, learning diverse information. Learning a third language, quality education and teachers and staff. Finding solutions when my kid is having difficulties learning. We do not feel alone. Freedom to study in different ways and time options. My kid had been homeschooled almost all her life, she depended too much in the way I provided the school materials. Now she finds the resources to complete her school work. It has not been easy for her. But is more mature, more responsible, learning to manage her time, being self responsible, happy and autonomous. School has the interest in helping students. For us is great.”

I have been blown away with the quality of CCAS education as well as the care the teachers show. They really care in ways I have never experienced before in a school setting. Students are taught not just what’s in the books, but how to behave and work for themselves. They are learning independence and self-sufficiency. CCA has kept my student on track all year while our home district is floundering and talking about mandatory summer school. My cousin still attends our home district and there are so many times his own teachers haven’t been showing up to class, let alone teaching anything. I have been so impressed with the quality education and flexibility we have been afforded. I lost my grandmother to pancreatic cancer just after Christmas. The staff at CCA has been amazing during the whole process (she started to decline in September, 1 week after school began) and have gone out of their way to make sure my son was seen, heard, and taken care of. I cannot recommend them enough!

I was astonished at how much we received for the kids – new computers, a printer, everything they need for art projects, science experiments, gym class, etc. CCA makes good use of the funding they receive and they know how to teach children virtually. I have two high school students; My first child loves the program and is flexible for her learning style. She is able to use her creativity and has great relationships with her teachers. My second child was a senior was struggling to graduate due to the virtual style of her school. She felt overwhelmed; and felt like the system was working against her. Within two weeks of starting; she was getting her work completed and felt supported that she will be able to graduate on time; and has a strong platform to complete her high school career.

The programs and teachers at CCA have worked so well with my kids, especially those who require extra assistance. The teachers give much more attention and assistance on the virtual platform. The one on one meeting have made my kids feel like a person as opposed to a number. They learn until they get it.

CCA has been on the ball with my child’s IEP better than the run around I would get from his home district. He receives OT, counseling and social skills and is thriving. The education fits his needs better and offers more flexibility. Also am happy with the variety of second language programs CCA offers. I know in a non-pandemic situation we would be attending field trips for the social aspects. Such a diverse set of programs/clubs offered.

My child absolutely LOVES CCA! He gets so excited for school. He loves learning and loves all of his classes. He would not have Science, Social Studies, Success Skills, and Spanish at our district school. He would not be exposed to Art the way he is at CCA. He would not have the opportunity to be involved with the numerous clubs CCA offers. CCA has allowed my child to work at a pace that is good for him, while still being involved with his teachers and classmates. We can work ahead when able and take breaks when needed. He doesn’t miss any lessons like he would if he were absent at a brick and mortar school. The curriculum really focuses on writing, which is great. CCA has really enhanced his ability to write well, and without complaining, which is a huge bonus! My child has learned so much since starting at CCA. We love CCA! Our only complaint is that we wish CCA has been apart of his education from the start! If the students love the school, you know they’re doing something right!

“My son has flourished and thrived at CCA. He has made friends, has great teachers, and gets to enjoy this all from the safety of our own home. While other schools are dealing with COVID open/ close cycles, our school remains constant and allows flexibility for us as a family. “CCA has helped in so many ways. My child gets one-on-one with teachers when she doesn’t understand. It’s easier to send a message asking for help instead of raising your hand in front of the whole class if you don’t understand something. I’ve spoken to more CCA teachers and staff since she’s been enrolled then I have the whole 7 years my child has been at the on-site public school. That’s because the teacher reach out to me and show a genuine interest in my child’s education. I wish I had this option growing up.”

“CCA’s educational programs and services have benefited our children, by equipping them to have a successful learning experience. One of my children struggled with math, CCA put things in place for my student to practice and become efficient with math facts, this intern created a confidence that did not previously exist. Now this student no longer says they can’t do math. They are now able to receive an “A” grade in a subject that didn’t come natural. Each year during I-READY testing the results indicate to me my children are learning content and improving each year and are on or above grade level. This success has been obtained through the quality education and care that CCA and staff give each individual student.”

My child enjoys attending CCA because she is challenged on a daily basis to increase and apply her knowledge. The teachers are genuine and want my daughter to understand the material not just memorize it to pass a test. They personally call us at least once a month to check in. CCAs online platform allows me to know exactly what my child is working on in class and when assignments and tests are due. In our home district I had no idea what my student was working on. I love the transparency!

“Our experience in our local public brick and mortar schools, where both my husband and I attended as well as both sets of our parents, has not been favorable from the beginning of our daughters schooling career. Children are lost within the system and looked at as a number and not a student. In the public school our daughter had strengths that were not addressed and ignored and weaknesses that went unaddressed even with trying to contact teachers and administrators. This is absolutely NOT the case with CCA. From the beginning our daughter has had assessments, prompt one on one contact with teachers and administrators and numerous opportunities to explore outside of what she was offered in our local district. Our daughter is individually THRIVING at CCA and not just a number that was used for counting heads at our local brick and mortar school district.”

The materials provided by the school are way better than the materials that were provided by their public school and because of everything they provide my kids get to do a lot more hands on projects to learn, and it offers children with different learning types all sorts of ways to learn; hands on, course recording, live classrooms, SO many project’s etc.

My son has an IEP (Individualized Education Program) and the special education department of CCA has been phenomenal! They go above and beyond to make sure his needs are met and that he is progressing as his should. From biweekly calls, to creative and encouraging teachers, to social skills classes and field trips specifically for IDEA, CCA is why our son is excelling in school.

“The educational programs have far exceeded our expectations. The curriculum is advanced for my child. She is learning more than her friends that attend brick and mortar. The services they provide are great. They are on top of everything and get the ball rolling when an issue arises.”

“CCA has been amazing. We knew very early on that my son was not like other kids. He has been able to learn the way he learns and at the pace he wants to learn. Seven and a half years ago we placed my son in Kindergarten where he could excel and learn Spanish and coding during a full 5 hour work day. In 1st grade he completed the whole years work in half of the year and completed 2nd grade in the last half of the year. By third grade he was able to join the Honors classes and skip a year of Math. He has been able to overcome so many obstacles with the help of teachers and was able to finally be diagnosed with ADHD, GAD, and ASD that no one wanted to believe us because he has a very high IQ. CCA has given him more opportunities to explore the world around him virtually and hands on. Even through 2020 and now he has had no interruptions in services and schooling.”

“CCA has made a huge impact on keeping our family safe and my children educated. They would never have been able to succeed the way they have otherwise. Days would have been missed for doctors, hospitalizations, and just days where they weren’t feeling the best. With CCA they can continue to learn.”

“CCA’s educational programs and services have benefitted my children greatly. They are on honor roll (all A’s). We don’t fight over school work anymore. The teachers and the one-on-one they give to their students has been amazing. My son struggled with reading and thanks to CCA be the extra help he has grown so much as a reader and now a writer. My daughter who started school this year as a kindergartener has exceeded expectations (her teachers words)! I love that as a parent, we all work together to better children’s education. I love the monthly chats with the teachers and so do my kids. The curriculum is very easy to follow on edio and I love that I get to be a part of their learning as well.”

My youngest that has anxiety and other learning disabilities not only got discharged from multiple special education services this year. After enrolling in CCA she is a straight “A” distinguished honor roll student, something she never received even in a special education private paid school or a regular public school. The other services such as extracurricular activities, clubs, and field trips outweigh any and every school, I dare to say in the state of PA. WE LOVE CCA!

CCA has done more for my child than I could’ve imagined. Not just in education but also the teachers and the time they take with each child. If they need extra help it is available in so many ways. If parents need help it’s available. Mentors for families. The interaction with the kids and teachers are wonderful, even after 3pm. It would take pages for me to express the gratitude that we have for CCA. We will not put our child back in our school district if CCA is not available. There are always other options and we will decide what, where, when etc.. our child does especially when it comes to school. It is our right our freedom to make that choice.

Due to a abusive teacher in the state of WV where we moved from, my son has a extreme fear of the sight of a school building. We are truly blessed to have CCA educating our son. Along with, OT (occupational therapy) and speech therapy as well as a aid for my son. We are so completely blessed and happy with CCA.”

My students enjoy CCA. The learning platform is easy for them to navigate, they can easily keep track of work and send it to their teachers. Lessons are always recorded and kept so they are able to go back to them if need be. That is something the public school does not do.

“It gave us the option to be flexible. If my child has a doctors appointment or something my child can log in and see what she needs to do without missing out on the lesson and playing catch-up. They offer more clubs that my children would have never seen in their local district. My 1st grader is already learning science and social studies things that are not fully introduced until 3rd grade. They offer languages that are again not offered until high school. My kids have more options flexibility and most certainly a better education. They even teaching my kids on how to be successful in school and in life things that are not even taught any more.”

He has had consistent teaching and close monitoring and supervision by his teachers during his time at CCA – far above and beyond what he rec’d at his public school. “We first picked CCA to help our first-grader move into a better learning environment from the one he had experienced in our school district. Participating in CCA, our six-year-old has gone from being a kid who dreads school, to one that is enthusiastic about learning. This fall, he had an unexpected health emergency and was hospitalized for several days. The teachers were amazing and helped us prioritize what needed to be done to give him time to recover and then get caught up without being left behind. I have been passionate about my childrens education since before they were born. We purposely chose where to build our home based on the school district long before children were even a consideration. Over the years, I have come to realize that a traditional brick and mortar school is not the most appropriate solution for each and every child. We have spent hours considering all of our options and landed on CCA this year, partly due to the pandemic, but also partly as a search for an alternative to brick and mortar options. We still live in a good district. At this point, I intend to send my daughter to brick and mortar, but my son would not have thrived in the way he is if he were in a traditional school environment. Each and every child is unique and comes with their own set of needs and wants – being able to capitalize on their talents and focus on their weaknesses is really giving each child the absolute best chance for success.

My children have benefited from learning in the online environment at CCA and have received many accolades for their great work, something that does not happen as often in regular in-person school. “With my oldest child who is a graduate of CCA, it was such a relief to find a place where every teacher cared because he was diagnosed with ADHD and Asperger’s syndrome at a young age. What an amazing day it was when he graduated! There was a time when we weren’t sure that would happen and the graduation ceremony was amazing! With my second child, it was a no-brainer when we had to move to a less desirable neighborhood than we would have liked. With that said CCA was our choice, we did not want to send him to the public schools in the area. Again, that was OUR choice. And we were happy to be able to make it.”

“My children have always been good students. The difference is that with CCA, they are comprehending and retaining more. In their old school they seemed to be memorizing facts, taking tests, and immediately forgetting what they learned. Now, when I reflect back on what they’ve learned, I can tell it’s made an impression. Also, both of my children have IEPs. My daughter receives speech therapy 2x a week and my son receives occupational therapy biweekly. I can see vast improvement already with their services. I’m impressed with how effective and efficient CCA’s special education department is overall.”County

CCA has been OUTSTANDING! Although virtual, the teachers really make you feel like you’re in a classroom and not at home. Their curriculum is also A LOT better than brick and mortar and the opportunities they give us are amazing. The sky is the limit with CCA and we love it so much.

The rigor of the curriculum, along with the flexibility of the program, has allowed both of my sons to succeed in high school. There are times when my boys need the flexibility of the recorded lessons vs guided instruction and CCA provides that. The staff is also available for extra help and emails are answered promptly. CCA has been the best choice for our family and for our sons to realize academic success!

“My entire family is so much at ease since my son has been with CCA. I also have a daughter that thanks to CCA she got her HS (high school) diploma. She probably would’ve dropped out of HS if it wasn’t for CCA. She hated public HS with a passion. So did my son while being in 3rd grade. No child should feel hate towards a school that should be providing an education. Both my kids have done so much better with CCA and I am so happy to put my battles with public school staff behind me. It was truly a nightmare!”

My daughter loved the field trips. The teacher interaction has been great for both of my kids. My daughter enjoys the L2L (Learner to Learner Services program) in which she tutors another student in math. Neither one of my kids have to worry about getting sick, which would be a huge distraction for them.

“CCA has allowed my child to attend school (since B&M, brick and mortar schools wouldn’t even let him in the building with his inability to wear a mask), they also provided him with an IEP evaluation which my B&M school failed to do. My child has been able to get the services and therapy that he requires for his education. We are able to mold his education around his needs and how he learns. None of this would be possible in a B&M school. My child would never be able to sit at a desk and be silent to learn. I’m seeing far too many parents having to drug their hyperactive children just so they can attend school. This is a horrible precedent. Children are not a”one size fits all” and their education shouldn’t be either.”

The flexibility, the one on one attention, the patience, the help they provide. It’s all amazing. CCA even sends out ALL school materials needed for the entire school year AND provides access to field trips to get students engaged with each other, AND live classrooms to talk with each other and teachers, AND sends a reimbursement check for the internet to be paid for to complete school. I have never had so much help from any public school system. The public school system is a joke. CCA is an AMAZING option and should be supported.

My family has been with CCA for 5 years now. I have watched my children blossom into their own person with the ability to learn at their own pace and the way that works best for them. With my oldest he could never sit still he did his whole kindergarten year bouncing on a ball. CCA has also gone above and beyond on making sure that my students have the necessary programs to help them grow as a person not just a student.

CCA’s educational program have been exceptional for my daughter. During the end of the 2019-20 school year, schools moved to an online platform due to the COVID pandemic. The online curriculum presented by our district was severely inadequate. My daughter was receiving less direct instruction and resources for learning than she had when she was going to school in person every day. We enrolled her in CCA at the start of the 2020-21 school year, and we have been astounded with the amount of personalized instruction, resources, and dedication to her education from the faculty and staff at CCA. My daughter is learning a 2nd language! I know of no other elementary schools in our area that offer a language to a child as young as our second grader. Multiple studies can confirm that language acquisition is a skill that our brains develop during our pre-adolescent years. Most schools do not offer a language course until 7th grade, at the earliest. This is just one of the many advantages we have witnessed during our short time at CCA.
