Chinese 2

Chinese 2 builds upon the introductory skills of Chinese 1. Learners expand their vocabulary and improve their communication skills by continuing to learn foundational vocabulary and sentence structures to express views about simple and common daily life topics. Interactive features like pictures, videos, and flashcards are integrated through the course. By the end of the course, learners will read, write, speak, and listen to important Chinese characters, vocabulary words, phrases, and sentences. The successful Chinese 2 learner will produce language in audio recordings and in writing. Due to the cumulative nature of language studies, a minimum grade of 75% (C) in Chinese 1 is recommended.
