HARRISBURG – Commonwealth Charter Academy (CCA) is pleased to announce that it has been selected by the National Association of Special Education Teachers (NASET) as one of 18 charter schools nationwide to receive the 2026 Exceptional Charter School in Special Education designation.

The NASET Exceptional Charter School award recognizes charter schools across the United States that have demonstrated a meaningful and measurable commitment to serving students with disabilities. Recipients are selected based on program quality, inclusive practices, and outcomes for students with special needs, reflecting the best of what charter education can offer this population.
