Intro to Health Sciences 1A

Introduction to Health Sciences 1A is a semester course introducing learners to the field of health sciences and provides a basic foundation of the structure, services, activities, and professions in the health care system. Course topics include the American healthcare system, basics of human anatomy and physiology, health and wellness, skills necessary for health care professionals. Learners will be introduced to several real-life scenarios in the health science professions giving them firsthand experience of how the health sciences field works.
