Honors Science 5

Honors Science 5 allows learners to discover more about the natural world around them through hands-on science explorations to make sense and meaning of scientific principles. Topics of exploration include properties of matter, heating & cooling, mixtures & solutions, plant growth, food webs, Earth’s systems, and the universe. Careers in science are also highlighted. This course is designed to challenge learners through activities focused on critical thinking, collaborative discussion and deep exploration of content.
