In Honors Science 3, learners build upon the foundations built in previous science courses. Hands-on lab science explorations are integrated into the course to help learners make sense and meaning of scientific principles. Topics of exploration include motion and forces, simple and complex machines, electric and magnetic forces, life cycles of plants and animals, ecosystems, and weather and climate. Careers in science are also highlighted. This course is designed to challenge learners through activities focused on critical thinking, collaborative discussion and deep exploration of content.
