Honors Precalculus

Honors Precalculus reviews and expands upon algebraic and trigonometric concepts learned in previous mathematics courses. Polynomial, exponential, and trigonometric functions are explored and practiced with an emphasis on the graphing and application of these functions. There is also an emphasis on the use of complex numbers, matrices, and vectors. Precalculus will provide a firm foundation for future higher-level math courses. Learners should expect a rigorous math curriculum, deeper exploration of course content, in-class discourse, and faster pace. The most successful Honors math learners are problem solvers with highly developed organization skills.
