Honors Math 6

In Honors Math 6, learners expand their knowledge of geometric figures and numbers and operations to include decimals and a deeper understanding of fractions. Learners will explore area and surface area, ratios, unit rates, percentages, dividing fractions, arithmetic with positive and negative rational numbers, expressions and equations, and make sense of data sets and distributions. By the end of the course, learners will gain fluency, understanding, and the ability to apply mathematical concepts and skills to problems with and without real-world contexts This course is designed to challenge learners through activities focused on critical thinking, collaborative discussion and deep exploration of content.
