Honors Math 3

In Honors Math 3, learners use foundational mathematics skills to use math tools and relate math to real life situations to build their confidence. The focus of this math course is developing an understanding of multiplication, division, and fractions. Learners will learn multiplication and division facts; relate multiplication to area; add and subtract within 1,000; identify fractions; measure length, volume, and weight; tell time; calculate perimeter; and identify characteristics of two-dimensional shapes. This course is designed to challenge learners through activities focused on critical thinking, collaborative discussion and deep exploration of content.
