Honors English 11

Honors English 11 features American literature from various periods and how historical events influenced American writers. Learners have the opportunity to enhance skills related to literary analysis through the application of rigorous close reading skills. Strategies to enhance writing skills are emphasized. The successful Honors English learner demonstrates mastery of standard English material in prior grade levels. Learners should expect a rigorous reading and writing curriculum, in-class discourse, and a faster pace.
