Controlled Environment Agriculture Aquaponics 102

Controlled Environment Agriculture (CEA) Aquaponics 102 is a newly emerging industry in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and is an emerging career option across the country. In CEA 102, learners work collaboratively to run their own growing area by researching and selecting fish, plants, and light calibrations that will be implemented in real time at CCA’s AgWorks growing facility. Learners will experience aquaponics in action by accessing data sensors, cameras, and support systems to view their chosen plants and fish. This elective will put learners in the driver’s seat, where their data and observations will drive decisions to ensure that their plants and fish remain healthy while gaining real-world career experience.
