Calculus

Calculus is the starting point in a basic calculus sequence required for all mathematics, science, engineering, and statistics learners at the collegiate level. Learners will discover new calculus topics, extend topics from Precalculus, strengthen their algebra and analytic geometry skills, and be introduced to derivatives and integration. Learners will use these tools to evaluate limits, extreme values and optimization, rates of change, accumulation of areas, and volumes. Learners will explore how concepts, models, and real-life applications in calculus are expressed in multiple ways, including geometrically, numerically, analytically, and graphically.
