Astronomy

Astronomy takes learners on an exciting journey into the last frontier of space to explore the universe. This course covers the formation of the universe, galaxies, stars, and planets including mysterious black holes, dark matter, and the fate of the universe. Learners will explore how distant exploding stars forged nearly every atom that makes life possible on the earth. Recent technological discoveries made by the Hubble Space Telescope and Webb Telescope are also included in the course. Learners will conduct activities similar to those that real astronomers conduct.
