Art History

Art History is an introductory level course in which learners are introduced to the study of global art history. The course is presented in chronological order, beginning with an exploration of the art of ancient civilizations and moving through history to the present day. Learners will evaluate and make connections between selected artworks, architectural works, artists, themes, and time periods. Students will increase their skills in visual literacy, cultural appreciation, and curiosity through the lens of visual history.
