Art 1

In Art 1, learners will explore and create art inspired by famous artists including Matisse, Cézanne, Cassatt, Klee, Monet, and Thiebaud. They will learn how color reflects mood and how nature inspires artists. Learners will use the elements and principles of art to create a variety of projects. Topics include shapes, still life art, portraits, color, landscapes, symmetry, patterns, and three-dimensional art.
