Dear Elementary School Families:
My name is Andrea Azzalina, and I would like to welcome you and your learner to the 2026-27 school year at Commonwealth Charter Academy (CCA)!
This is my fifteenth year working as an educator at CCA. Prior to working with CCA, I served as an elementary teacher in local school districts, teaching kindergarten, first, and fourth grades. While at CCA, I taught third grade, served as a teacher leader, elementary assistant principal, elementary principal, and now as provost of the elementary school program.
I am excited to partner with you in providing a flexible, engaging, and learner-centered school experience. Whether you are returning or joining us for the first time, thank you for making CCA your school of choice. CCA is truly a place where your learner will thrive!
The elementary school experience with CCA is critical to building foundational skills for life-long learners. Each year, we strive to improve and innovate our programming, ensuring that every student has the opportunity to explore, learn, and succeed in our core courses – English Language Arts, Math, Science, and Social Studies. Our dedicated educators and staff are here to guide and encourage each student, ensuring they have the resources and opportunities needed to thrive. Through our innovative virtual learning environment, personalized instruction, and strong community connections, we are committed to creating an enriching educational journey for every family.
As we embark on this school year together, we encourage open communication and collaboration. You can anticipate hearing from me throughout the school year through a series of videos that will be sent your way to keep you informed and engaged. In addition, please take advantage of the many support services, enrichment activities, and family engagement opportunities available to you. If you have any questions that would help you or your learner, please feel free to reach out to me, their principal, assistant principal, school counselor, or teacher. We are all here to help and support you!
