Susan Chopp

Hi! I’m Susan Chopp, and I’ve been a Family Mentor since early 2021. Our family joined CCA in the fall of 2020 when our son started 5th grade. He previously attended a private school from kindergarten through 4th grade, but changes at the school and health concerns prompted us to explore other options. Thankfully, several friends and teachers recommended CCA. 

We are incredibly grateful for the positive impact CCA has had on our son. It’s been such a joy to see him thrive—not only academically, but also socially. Through Zoom classes, clubs, and field trips, he’s made stronger friendships than he ever had in a traditional classroom. He’s rediscovered his love for learning and has taken part in the National Junior Honor Society and even interned in CCA’s Aquaponics Lab. 

CCA’s flexibility has allowed us to manage frequent doctor appointments without compromising his education. In addition to being a Learning Coach and Mentor, I also work part-time as a program coordinator at a music school. I enjoy gardening, nature walks, family time, and practicing Tang Soo Do with our son.
