United States History

In United States History, learners will explore the social, cultural, political, and economic changes over a time period of rapid technological change from the Civil War to the modern era. The events and diverse people that contributed to the rich and complex history of the nation will be explored. The expanding role of the United States through global turning points in history, including World War I, World War II, the Cold War, and the modern era are examined. Learners will practice the skills of historians to critically analyze and understand United States history in its historic and modern-day context.
