Marine Biology

Marine Biology examines the unique adaptations that allow these marine creatures to thrive in different ocean environments. Learners will study marine life, ecosystems, and conservation. Learners will identify and classify various marine organisms from microscopic plankton to majestic whales. The course will investigate the interconnectedness of marine ecosystems and current marine conservation issues and strategies for protecting our oceans. Learners will gain a basic understanding of marine biology as a science and its importance to our planet.
