Intro to Healthcare Professionals

Introduction to Healthcare Professionals is a semester course that introduces learners to the numerous career opportunities in the healthcare industry. This course will cover different areas of healthcare domains including medicine, pharmacology, healthcare informatics, nursing, nutrition and wellness, public health, mental health, first aid, alternative medicine, research, health systems, dental sciences, and other allied systems. Learners will also become familiar with the legal system and its relation to and impact on healthcare systems. Employability skills and requirements for specific careers will also be explored.
