Introduction to Careers in Transportation, Distribution, and Logistics explores careers and businesses involved in the planning, management, and movement of people, materials, and products by road, air, rail, and water. It also includes related professional and technical services such as infrastructure planning and management, logistics, and equipment and facilities maintenance. Learners will examine the eight career pathways, including facility and mobile equipment maintenance; health, safety, and environmental management; logistics planning and management services; sales and services; transportation operations; transportation systems and infrastructure; planning, management, and regulation; and warehousing and distribution center operations.
