Honors Science 8

Honors Science 8 explores concepts related to life science including senses, ecosystems, natural selection, adaptations, and genetics. Learners examine Earth science concepts such as natural resources, Earth history, and natural hazards. Finally, learners will have the opportunity to evaluate the human impact on Earth systems by studying concepts such as climate science. Throughout the course, learners will apply scientific thinking and STEAM skills as they explore problems, ask questions, and develop solutions to science-related concepts. This course is designed to challenge learners through activities focused on critical thinking, collaborative discussion and deep exploration of content.
