Honors Science 7

Honors Science 7 explores concepts related to Earth and space science including the rock cycle, fossils, Earth’s processes, gravity, and the solar system. Learners examine life science concepts such as photosynthesis, the carbon cycle, and the nitrogen cycle. Finally, learners will have the opportunity to evaluate the human impact on Earth systems by studying concepts such as agriculture, the way land is used, and wetlands and watersheds. Throughout the course, learners will apply scientific thinking and STEAM skills as they explore problems, ask questions, and develop solutions to science-related concepts. This course is designed to challenge learners through activities focused on critical thinking, collaborative discussion and deep exploration of content.
