Honors Science 6

Honors Science 6 explores concepts related to physical science including Newton’s laws of motion, electricity, magnetism, and matter and energy. Learners examine Earth science concepts such as astronomy and the phases of the moon. Finally, learners will have the opportunity to evaluate the human impact on Earth systems by studying concepts such as agriculture, photosynthesis, soil types, and ecosystems. Throughout the course, learners will apply scientific thinking and STEAM skills as they explore problems, ask questions, and develop solutions to science-related concepts. This course is designed to challenge learners through activities focused on critical thinking, collaborative discussion and deep exploration of content.
