Early Childhood Education

Early Childhood Education is an introductory course for learners who have an interest in the development of young children and may be interested in a career as a preschool teacher, childcare worker, or other career with young children. This course explores the stages of child development in the first five years of life. Physical and emotional development, along with stages of language acquisition are highlighted. Learners will also explore positive learning environments for young children, safety and security, and serving the needs of all children.
