Chemistry

Chemistry will provide a foundation in the skills required for scientific analysis such as measurement and mathematical analysis of data which will be used to gain an understanding of chemistry concepts. The course will also provide a foundation in elemental chemistry; learners will explore atoms and elements, concepts in chemical bonding, and how atoms and elements react to one another. Scientific inquiry, interactive experiences, higher-order thinking, real-world application, and a variety of assessments will help reinforce the concepts covered in this course, which include the properties of matter, solutions, and energy. Additionally, learners will be exposed to chemistry-related careers and career-related skills throughout the course.
