AP US Government and Politics

Advanced Placement® United States Government and Politics is an introductory, college-level course about the U.S. government and politics. In this course, learners will analyze data and text-based resources to cultivate their understanding of governance and politics. Topics include the foundations of the American democracy, the branches of the United States government, civil liberties and civil rights, political ideologies, and political participation in Unites States politics. Upon completion of the course, learners will be prepared to take the AP® U.S. Government and Politics exam.
