Advanced Placement® United States History is a college-level introductory U.S. History course.
The course is designed to provide learners with the analytic skills and factual knowledge necessary to critically examine a large survey of history. AP® U.S. History is a comprehensive study of the cultural, economic, political, and social developments that have shaped the United States from c. 1491 to the present. This course will help students illuminate connections between their lives and the experiences of people of the past. Upon completion of the course, learners will be prepared to take the AP® U.S. History exam.
