AP Human Geography

Advanced Placement® Human Geography is an introductory college-level human geography course. It is designed to help students understand the Earth, the impact humans have on the Earth, and how the Earth’s features impact how we live. Learners will explore questions of migration, demography, politics, culture, settlement, and development to better understand the organization, complexity, and challenges of our modern world geography. Maps, charts, and graphs are key to understanding this course, and students will use this data to develop the skills of thinking like a geographer. Upon completion of the course, learners will be prepared to take the AP® Human Geography exam.
