AP Art History

Advanced Placement® Art History is a college-level course about the history of art. In this course, learners will analyze artworks and consider them within historical context. Learners will also explore concepts such as culture and cultural interactions, theories and interpretations of art, and the impact of materials, processes, and techniques on art and artmaking. This course contains artwork of a mature nature that may include depictions of violence, nudity, or other suggestive content. Upon completion of the course, learners will be prepared to take the AP® Art History exam.
