Algebra 1B

Algebra 1B is equivalent to the second half of standard Algebra 1. The course begins with a review of topics in Algebra 1A and then focuses on multiple representations of linear and nonlinear functions such as rational functions, quadratic functions, and polynomials. Using algebraic techniques to solve problems and represent real-world situations will be emphasized. Algebra 1B is specially designed to support students requiring alternative pacing and customized content to achieve grade level standards and expectations in algebra.
