Algebra 1A

Algebra 1A is equivalent to the first half of standard Algebra 1. This course focuses primarily on multiple representations and applications of linear functions. Learners study essential mathematical concepts such as rational numbers, various expressions, analyzing and solving linear equations and inequalities, linear functions, data analysis, statistics, and probability. Using algebraic techniques to solve problems and represent real-world situations will be emphasized. Algebra 1A is specially designed to support students requiring alternative pacing and customized content to achieve grade level standards and expectations in algebra.
