AP Physics

Advanced Placement® Physics 1 is an introductory, algebra-based, college-level physics course. Learners will develop their understanding of physics through inquiry-based investigations and explore kinematics, dynamics, circular motion and gravitation, energy, momentum, simple harmonic motion, torque, and rotational motion. The course will incorporate phenomenon-based learning as a way to not only engage learners in real-world applications but also as a means of uncovering existing misconceptions. Upon completion of the course, learners will be prepared to take the AP® Physics 1 exam.
