AP Environmental Science

Advanced Placement® Environmental Science is a rigorous investigation of the interaction between the human population and its overall effects on the environment. The course focuses on concepts such as energy, relationships between species and their environment, Earth’s systems, and achieving sustainability. Through this course, students will actively engage in inquiry-based laboratory investigations and field work as they develop an understanding of society’s attempts to protect the natural world. Upon completion of the course, learners will be prepared to take the AP® Environmental Science exam.
