STEM Conservatory

Students explore STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) activities during hands-on workshops, events and internships.

STEM Conservatory events are open to students in grades K-12, who participate in projects modified for their grade levels. The STEM events are about presenting real-world problems to students and giving them the tools to figure out their own solutions.

The activities allow students to be innovative thinkers and curious experimenters, while developing communication and teamwork skills. Students participate in investigative processes and explore scientific and technological advances.

Experts and professionals in various fields share their experiences and allow students the opportunity to hear from someone who works in their region who is actively involved in a career that may be of interest to them.

Students can participate in hands-on workshops by exploring:

  • Engineering
  • Career-readiness
  • Technology
  • Astronomy
  • 3-D Printing and modeling
  • Neuroscience
  • Agriculture
